A sorcerer has emerged from the realm of fireside ghost stories. He has captured one of the three heroized King's Watchers from the kingdom of Alonili. Against the wishes of the King's Council, Alonili's crown princess sets off to attempt the rescue. But how powerful is this sorcerer, and is there a deeper plot at hand than even he knows?
